Community Service

FBLA Week

FBLA week is celebrated during the month of February in collaboration with FCCLA members. During FBLA week we create posters, increase FBLA awareness and increase recruitment efforts and create teacher appreciation gifts.

Zombie 5K

The Zombie 5k run, shuffle, and walk  was one of our community projects in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and SPARC. It was the second annual 5k run and walk.

FBLA members helped with registration, sign placement, and dressing as zombies.

Community Growth

Local business owner and chamber member Caitlin Jurabek spoke to our chapter about a new housing division being created.  The legalities and procedures to gain approval for this project were explained.  Students were invited to attend the project's proposal at the City Council meeting. Mrs. Jurabek also invited students to attend the installation of officers at the Chamber Office.

Going Green

Going Green is an on going project we do at the end of each month. FBLA  and the National Honor Society  team up and collect reusable paper from across our school. We then take it down town to the recycling bins.

Mercy Meals

Mercy Meals is an organization that puts together meals for family that can afford them. Our FBLA and FCCLA chapters got a few of our members to help out with this and our group could not be prouder of our members that came.

Boo Bash

The Boo Bash is an event that the math and science club holds on Halloween every year to make sure kids are safe. FBLA and FCCLA come together and share a table to pass out candy.
